These are Nellie's Puppies, and they are very lucky little dogs. Nellie's seller didn't know she was pregnant at the auction, so she sold for a lot less than she would have otherwise, making it possible for rescuers to afford her. As a result, she had good food and care prior to whelping, and her pups were born in a clean, safe environment.

     After the puppies are weaned, they will all go to carefully screened, loving homes. All will be spayed or neutered.
