Thorp Dog Auction Scrapbook: Martin

Previous -- Next

Martin was sold as a purebred poodle.

"When were previewing the dogs I saw a poodle that looked alot like one I had at home from another mill that I was working with. He looked so scared in the cage. When he came up for auction it seemed none of the millers wanted him so I got him for $60.

"He is just a pack of nerves when handled so I am going to try the DAP collar with him and see if him calms him at all. The funny thing is he will quiet down if he is on my lap or if I am sitting and he is in my arms.

He appears very affectionate. I should have had my husband take a picture because we were watching American Idol last night and he fell asleep across my chest. He has been more trusting more quickly then many of the others I have had.

This is his picture. A poodle??? His name is Martin now. "
